The construction of the first Mauritian satellite in Scotland is on track. It will be sent to Japan in September. Meanwhile, a reception station is almost ready in Mauritius. This station will receive the data that will be recorded by the device.

Le deuxième train du Metro Express arrive ce week-end
Le deuxième train duMetro-Express qui arrive, vendredi, sera par la suite transporté au dépôt de Riche Terre où se trouve le premier light rail véhicule. Il sera assemblé au dépôt de Riche Terre et des tests seront par la suite effectués. Ce train, qui est doté des technologies derniers cri, pourra transporter plus de 400 passagers. Les autres trains devront arriver avant la fin de ce mois-ci.
Gross Official International Reserves: End-July 2019
The Gross Official International Reserves1(GOIR) of the country increased by Rs 5.7 billion,from Rs 253.4billion as at end June2019 to Rs 259.1billion as at end-July2019.
Compared to a year ago, the GOIR rose by Rs 37.0 billion. Based on the value of imports of goods (f.o.b.) and services for calendar year 2018, the GOIR represented 12.1 months of imports as at end July2019 compared to 11.8 months as at end June 2019and10.4 months as at end-July 2018.
