According to Statistics Mauritius, based on information gathered on key sectors of the economy, performance observed in the first semester of 2019 and taking into consideration policy measures announced in the budget 2019/2020:
· GDP at market prices in 2019 would grow by 3.8% instead of 3.9% as forecasted in June 2019; and
· GVA at basic prices in 2019 would grow by 3.5% instead of 3.6% as forecasted in June 2019.
