Health: 4 malaria cases reported since the beginning of 2019
Four cases of malaria have been recorded by the Ministry of Health and Quality of Life since the beginning of this year. The Ministry is making every effort to roll back the disease in Mauritius. As soon as a case is detected, the patient is taken care of and the protocol is triggered. Mauritius is one of the few countries to have successfully contained the disease. However, that prevention is the best way to eliminate any risk of infection.
