Collendavelloo to strike a balance between environmental protection and development

The Central Electricity Board (CEB) has started a vast underground cable installation project at Roland Armand Drive on February 14th.

Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Collendavelloo said the excavations that will last six weeks. These public works were planned to modernize the CEB’s network, according to the Minister. They coincide with the construction of the Metro Express. In the immediate future it involves excavations and installation of cables.

Ivan Collendavelloo said that a balance must be struck between environmental protection and development. He announced the creation of a health park for the inhabitants of the region.
